Scroll wheel with shift disables scroll wheel

Hello,

I like to play Minecraft on my MacBook, and in some cases I would want to use the scroll wheel of my Trust wired mouse whilst holding down shift, but this causes the scroll wheel to stop working. Can I somehow stop this from happening?

Since this is a third-party app, we'd advise contacting the Minecraft developers to find out exactly how to use a scroll wheel in the game. Here's How to contact an app developer.

"Contact the developer of a macOS app

Open the App Store on your Mac.
Click the sign-in button or your photo.
A list of apps appears. Click the app that you want. If you can't find the app, use the search bar.
The app's product page appears. Click Support or App Support. If you don't see Support or App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID."
