Error 21 when trying to restore my iPad

MY iPad all of sudden becomes dead!

While updating or restoring by using my macBook it is showing an error "21" and "1668".

What to do? Any idea?!

Hi shilpa282,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities! Based on the errors you're receiving, it's suggested to check the hardware. Follow the steps below from the article iOS update and restore errors:

  1. "If iTunes is already open, quit and reopen it.
  2. Check your third-party security software.
  3. Make sure that your USB cable, computer, and network are reliable. Then try twice more to restore your device.
  4. Check for outdated or modified software."

These steps can resolve the errors you're receiving. You also want to be sure your macOS is running the latest version: Update macOS on Mac.

If you continue to see an error, contact Apple Support for further assistance.

Cheers!
