HLS forced media

I have recently updated my Mac to macOS Ventura 13.1. I run Apple TV and share my downloaded movies archived in iTunes to Apple TV. Lately every time I buy a movie from Apple, it downloads in HLS media format, which won't show up in my library accessed from "My Computer" through Apple TV. I am forced to run two libraries, one from my computer, and one from "purchased" on the Movies app button. In Ventura I don't have the option of downloading m4v files, only whether or not to include multichannel audio. How do I get all my purchased movies and ripped discs into one library?

This reply is worthless; Apple has switched for some reason to HLS media which is worthless. It will not work in the Apple TV App on any thing running any version of OSX. By that I mean you can not add it to an Apple TV Playlist. I have found no software that will convert HLS Media to any other format like .mp4. I have talked to Apple Support multiple times and sent feedback; not worth any ones time; because they don't have an answer.

The only Solution that I have is to boot to an external HD running Mojave; download the file and then copy to my iTunes Library. I can then put it into any playlist. Never more disappointed in Apple than this and the removal of the 27" Imac!!!
