Add "animated" ticket to Apple Wallet

Hello. Whenever I get tickets now from a certain ticket site, they are called MySafe tickets or something. I guess they are NFC? There is a line that moves back and forth across the barcode and a screenshot of the ticket won't work.

Anyway, I've had no luck getting these into my Wallet. It has the "add to Apple Wallet" button right on them but it doesn't work. I love being able to just tap my watch or phone to get in.

Everything works fine with old style tickets. Any help? Thanks.

To make sure we're on the same page, when trying to add the ticket to your Wallet, are you following the tips here?


"How to add a boarding pass, ticket, or other pass to Apple Wallet on your iPhone

  1. Open the app, email, notification, or other communication that contains your boarding pass, ticket, or other pass.
  2. Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
  3. The Add to Apple Wallet button
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. If necessary, tap Add in the upper right corner.


If you don't see an option to add your boarding pass, ticket, or other pass to the Wallet app, contact the merchant or company that issued it to make sure they support passes in the Wallet app.

When you add a boarding pass, ticket, or other pass to the Wallet app on your iPhone, you automatically add it to the Wallet app on your paired Apple Watch."


If so, but the ticket won't add, it is possible there may be an issue on the side of the ticket issuer. We'd advise reaching out to their customer service for assistance should that be the case.
