Mouse cursor doesn't disappear in full screen video

I've looked this question up before, the mods were no help (go figure). My mouse won't disappear when I put my macbook in full screen mode on ESPN. I know it's a quality of life issue, but the fact that it's never worked properly is maddening. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hi jthomas501,

Have you tried restarting your Mac to see if the issue persists? This can sometimes resolve minor software issues. Are you using a specific application or a web browser? If you're using a web browser does this persist in a different one? How about if you boot the Mac in safe mode? This can determine if a start up item is causing the issue. You can learn how here:

"Intel processor

  1. Turn on or restart your Mac, then immediately press and hold the Shift key as your Mac starts up.
  2. Release the key when you see the login window, then log in to your Mac.
  3. You might be asked to log in again. On either the first or second login window, you should see ”Safe Boot” in the upper-right corner of the window."

Here's the full resource if you're using Apple silicon: How to use safe mode on your Mac

We look forward to hearing back from you.

Take care.
