Power Beats Pro auto reconnect

My power Beats Pro have all of a sudden stopped auto reconnecting to my iPhone 11 Pro, they will connect with on ear detection after being in the case, but if I take the earbud out and back in, they don’t auto reconnect unless I put the bud back in the case, then back on my ear and then it will reconnect again. Obviously I don’t want to have to take that extra step nor carry around the case all the time, how can I fix this? I’ve restarted phone, reset Powerbeats pro, forgotten and re synced Powerbeats pro, checked settings to make sure nothing was changed, still the problem persists. I have the latest iOS version and beats firmware is also latest version…seems like they just won’t work properly anymore.

Hello ScottGrem,

Let's use the steps below to pair your Beats with another device to see if that behavior still persists:

Pair with iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Make sure that you turned on Bluetooth on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
2. Place the Powerbeats Pro earbuds in the case.
3. With the lid open, hold the Powerbeats Pro within 2 inches of your unlocked iOS device.
4. Follow the instructions that appear on your iOS device. If you don't see any instructions, follow the steps to connect to another device.

Pair with a Mac, Android device, or other device

1. Make sure that you turned on Bluetooth on your Mac, Android device, or other device.
2. Place the Powerbeats Pro earbuds in the case. Leave the case lid open.
3. Press and hold the system button until the LED blinks.
4. Open the Bluetooth menu on your Mac, Android device, or other device. For example, on your Mac, choose Apple () menu > System Preferences, then click Bluetooth.
5. In the list of discovered Bluetooth devices, tap or click your earphones.
