Ask to buy notifications

I am not receiving ask to buy notifications from my child’s devices. We have turned everything off, then on again. Updated all devices. Turned the ask to buy on and off again. Gone through a web search of what to do, followed those instructions but I’m still not getting the notifications! Can anyone help with this please!? All devices are updated to IOS 16. Thank you.
