Maps too loud while music is playing

I play music from iPhone (iOS 16.2) I have the volume set medium high to play classical music. Maps comes on screaming the directions at me. There used to be a setting for maps volume but it is gone.

This discussion, someone said to adjust the volume using the iphone's buttons while siri is talking (OS 15 GPS Navigation voice too low or too… - Apple Community) but that does not work because I can use the buttons to set the siri volume while Siri is talking, then the music comes on and it is too soft. I turn up the music, and Siri is screaming again. So basically, there is no difference.

Why can't we have a separate volume control for Siri voice like we used to? The music and the Siri voice need to be managed separately.
