Email original photo file using iOS mail app

Is it possible to email an original jpeg/heic using the iOS mail app? I need the metadata and best possible image quality to come across. The photos I send using “original size” have their metadata stripped out. I am also thinking the photo has been optimized for email by running a second compression on the file.

Hi ozone-352,

We'll be glad to help with sending your photos. The only way recommended to send photos via the Add email attachments in Mail on iPhone article from Apple. With that said, there doesn't appear to be any customization options as you were wanting to implement.

From here, you can provide feedback on this to Apple directly if you'd prefer: Feedback

We hope this helps.

Cheers.
