Lightning to HDMI adapter not working

Did a complete new install of IOS but didn’t restore backup and it worked. Before reinstall the charge wouldn’t even work on the adapter, after it started charging and the hdmi worked fine

Netflix says playing on tv and it’s not

Hulu plays video but no sound.

I can’t find the solution anywhere. I used my moms phone that hasn’t been updated to the newest iOS and hers worked instantly. So it’s not the apps problems, it’s Apple.

What was the fix?

Any resolution. My Lightning to HDMI cable quit working for video after upgrade to 16.2.
