Why Are Some Sent Emails Showing Up in my Inbox 3 Days Later?

Using the Apple Mail App on my iPhone 12, when I upgraded to iOS 16.1.1, I suddenly have this enjoying behaviour. Any email that I send that contains a question reappears in my Inbox 3 days later. I have Followup Suggestion turned off. How can I stop this behaviour?

Sent emails showing up days later I was noticing that certain emails were coming back into my inbox after being sent. I realized I had clicked on an option called suggest follow up. I have now removed that option but I am still getting some emails coming back after I sent them, days later. How to fix?

IPad Mail Follow Up I have Mail follow-up turned off in my email settings, but I am still seeing sent emails containing questions appearing in my inbox with the option to clear this ‘follow up suggestion’ . any idea why it is still doing this?
