Why does airplay to my TV keep disconnecting?

Why does airplay to my TV keep disconnecting? I have an LG TV and it will find and connect first time but constantly drops connection. This only happens on my phone. My wife's ipad connects without issue.

It will play a video for a minute or so and then disconnect and display a home kit set up screen.

iPad Airplay on Apple TV drops out after iOS 18 update While using an iPad on iOS 18, and now on iOS 18.0.1, I am unable to stay connected via AirPlay to our Apple TV on iOS 18. It will connect and work, but after about a minute it disconnects, it will sometimes last less than that. I have tried using an iPad that was on 17.5.1 as well and the same issue occurred. This did not happen before the Apple TV updated to 18. I have factory reset the Apple TV and the iPad multiple times. Same result sadly. Any ideas?

AirPlay works for about 30 seconds When trying to cast from my iPhone to the TV using AirPlay, whatever I'm casting will play for maybe 15 seconds - then I get a screen that says AirPlay is connected to my phone. My phone also shows that I am playing the video on the TV. I reset AirPlay devices, close the tab on my phone, re-open and connect everything, and the same things happens. I get the video for about 15 seconds, then the same screen saying AirPlay is connected to my phone. Please tell me there is a fix for this!

Since another device connects and works smoothly, the issue may be with your iPhone. Do you have another device you can AirPlay to? If so, test to further isolate the issue.
