How do I get texts transferred to iPad from iPhone?

I am not sure how to transfer your text from your iPad from iPhone but what I know is that you can sync and make messages appear on both the iPad and the iPhone.

You'll have to sign into the same AppleID on both devices and ensure that iCloud for Messages is turned on for both devices too.
