Freeform board missing and not synced

Hello,

Using Freeform for the first time on my Mac, I turned iCloud sync on.

I worked on a board for a few hours and realised the board wasn't showing on my iPhone. I tried forcing the sync on both iPhone and Mac but it still wasn't showing.

I disabled and re-enabled iCloud sync and the board I was working on disappeared.

I can't find it anywhere because it seems it didn't sync with iCloud.

Please tell me there is a way to retrieve it somewhere ?

Thanks a lot

Adrien

Ditto, spent all morning creating a work flow itinerary board on my Laptopn, only to find it would not share and was not syncing. On opening my iPhone to check and activating iCloud on my laptop and phone, the board was gone, both devices empty .. all work lost, bit baffled and not very excited to use freeform again ..

Even now anything I create as a 'test' doesn't appear on the other device ... boooooo

I lost my boards due to syncing issues. Here is what I did to restore my boards Via Time Machine.

Open Time Machine

Select Macintosh HD

Users

<Your name of account>

Library**

Containers

Right click on FreeForm folder and restore. A warning will prompt, hit Replace.

Open Freeform and you should get it back.

This helped me get my school work back. I had to copy the boards and move it on a New board so it can sync. To see if it Syncs or not, just try to share it. If it shows Share options, you're good. If it gives you an error, open board and copy it to a New board. Copy Paste.

I hope this can help someone. It worked for me.

**(If you don't see Library, Go to top bar, View, Show View options, Check box Show Library Folder, then close View options)

But, what should and does are not always the same thing 😔

Then have a few suggestions ;

1 - Get Support Choose a product and we’ll find you the best solution.Start now and open an Apple Support Ticket as they are Apple Employees to deal will these types of issues .

2 - Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing issue

Disable FreeForm from syncing again.

Restart the computer and pause for 10 - 15 seconds.

Re-Enable FreeForm - this should Force a re-sync

Still not working

Sign Out of iCloud completely

Restart again

Pause the same amount of time again

Sign Back into iCloud

Same problem here: three boards disappeared after deactivate and activate the iCloud Sync toggle button in my Mac settings, to force the iCloud sync that was not working between my Mac and the rest of my devices (iPhone and iPad). How can I make appear again the boards missed? Is there a process for that or are they on a system folder?
