Focus Mode being turned off automatically

Since updating to iOS 16.2, iPadOS 16.2, & watchOS 9.2, my sleep focus turns off automatically in the middle of the night. I wake up to the email chime goes off with all my work email alerts that come in.

Hey there cmshaffer,

Let's team up to rule out some possible causes to this occurring while you're trying to use Sleep Focus:

  1. While it sounds like you have the latest OS versions for your three devices, along with what sounds like the correct schedule set up for Sleep Focus, we wanted to provide a link that shows some of the other things to check that may have been inadvertently or mistakenly set within Focus settings: Use Focus on your iPhone or iPad For example: any Focus filters set up that you do not want, time sensitive notifications, etc.
  2. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone, How to restart your Apple Watch, and Restart your iPad
  3. If you've already checked the details above, and performed a restart of all three devices, we recommend letting Apple know what's been tried as they'll be in the best position to assist further: Get Support

Cheers!
