Sync, erased songs on devices!

I’m so angry at Apple! I always sync My entire iTunes library to my devices ;but, After updating to the latest version of iTunes, and updating my devices, songs were erased or deleted, or are unable to be played on my apple devices! I called Apple Support and they were no help. Has this happened to anyone else? Does anyone know how to fix this? It’s useless to have Apple devices. If when you sync, it totally screws everything up.

Hi AMEE REESE,

Are you an Apple Music subscriber? If so, then the steps in this resource could be helpful: If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library.

First, check these things
• Are all of your devices connected to the internet?
• Do you have an active subscription to Apple Music?
• Are all of your devices signed in with the same Apple ID that you use with your Apple Music subscription?
Is Sync Library turned on for all of your devices?

Check the cloud status of songs on your Mac or PC
1. On your Mac, open the Apple Music app. On your PC, open iTunes, choose Music from the pop-up menu, then click Library.
2. In the sidebar, select Songs.
3. In the menu bar, choose View > Show View Options.
4. Select Cloud Status and Cloud Download.

If you need more help, reach back out to Apple Support directly so they can look into this with you further. They can be contacted here: Get Support, or by calling the most applicable phone number from this list: Contact Apple for support and service.

Cheers.
