While I am watching some series from the Apple TV app on my iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2019) the screen goes black, however, there is still dialogue sound. The iMac didn't go to sleep, only the Apple TV app window is black. I have turned the iMac on and off, including wiped the entire system and reinstalled everything, but no solution. Does anyone have a solution to this? Thanks in advance.

I have tried Safe Mode but still has the same problem.
Same here. After about 30 seconds the image will go black but the audio will continue. Restarting the app fixes it but then after about 30 seconds it cuts out again. 2019 MBP here. Really annoying. Back to Netflix for now.
You still have the chance to watch Apple TV via Safari or Chrome, but as far as I know, the quality is really standar or low. The App has the full quality, but it doesn't work still for me...
