Monterey 12.6.2 installation problem

Have tried installing the Monterey 12.6.2 update several times and can not get it to complete. It gets stuck during preparing update. Device is iMac desktop, late 2015 model.





iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.5

Try installing the update in safe mode. See the Apple support article If an error occurs while updating or installing macOS.
