Change Colour of fonts on Home Screen

I've read some other related questions but can't see anything that has worked. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max on IOS 16.1.

I have a really nice photo with a white background as my home page screen but despite looking at multiple menu options I can't see anything that allows me to change the font on the home page to black. I can change the background colour which helps but its a gorgeous black and white photo and that spoils the effect

Can you actually change font colour ?

That's a great question! There are many customizations you can make to the Home Screen and Lock Screen on your iPhone. Changing the color of the font is not an available option.
