Notifications for Apple Watch and Airpods at the same time?

I have an Apple Watch S4 and 1st gen Airpod Pro's. When I get a notification while my airpods are in, my watch beeps at me but I also want the beep to come through my airpods as well.

Is there a way to make them both notify me of an incoming notification?

Workout notifications not playing on airpods A lot of people have asked this about this, but I haven't seen a good response from Apple or the community. So I finally figured it out for myself. If you are having a similar problem make sure to hit "me too". I will get all sorts of notifications from Find-my, messaging, email, phone calls etc. I can control the music and the volume playing on my AirPods with my watch. The workout display shows on my watch, but the "alerts" that the workout app gives only plays on the watch itself. Which is super frustrating since I have AirPods in and can't hear what my watch is telling me. And before I get asked. I have connected the watch and AirPods connected on bluetooth directly Solution!!!! 1. Turn off bluetooth on your phone. 2. Confirm on your watch that the AirPods are connected 3. Start music 4. Start workout. Not sure why this works but it does.

Apple Watch not showing notification when read by Siri on AirPods Hi all, I'm having some problems with notifications on my Watch Series 8. It is paired with an iPhone X and all softwares are updated to latest versions. When I have my AirPods paired to the iPhone and get some notifications ready by Siri, I'm not able to see these notifications on my watch and they are not either stored in the notifications center on the watch, but I can correctly see them on iPhone. Is this expected? I tried to check the settings but I'm not able to find anything related to this scenario. Thanks for any help!

Hey there ColdFyre2112,

Upon researching your question, we were able to find a link that has an overview of how to Listen and respond to notifications with AirPods and Beats headphones on Apple Watch. Near the top, it explains that Siri can read notifications aloud with compatible AirPods models, but AirPods Pro 1st gen isn't among the ones listed.

We also looked in this link, Change notification settings on Apple Watch, but it doesn't show that having the notification chime through on both your AirPods and watch is possible. For this reason, we wanted to provide a way to submit feedback to Apple for consideration: Product Feedback
