How do you get phone to stop searching for devices?

I want my phone to stop searching for devices. What do I do?

If you are referring to Bluetooth, it is normal for it to search as long as you have Settings > Bluetooth open. It stops when you close that window.

ios 16.4 caused searching at top left of iPhone. After updating my phone to iOS 16.4 it now says searching in the top left hand corner of my phone.
