Hi suliman247,
We'd recommend testing the issue in the Apple Camera app to isolate and see if the issue still occurs. If the issue occurs in the Apple Camera app, then let's complete the steps listed here: If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working that are also listed below.
"Remove case, accessory, or film and test
If you want to try more steps on your own
If you prefer, here are some more steps you can try on your own if the camera isn't working. You might still need to contact Apple Support after following these steps.
If the issue is isolated only to a third party app, then we'd recommend deleting the app by completing the steps below that are also listed here: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
"How to delete an app
You can download an app by completing the steps listed here: Redownload apps and games from Apple, that are also below.
"How to redownload apps on iPhone or iPad
Learn what to do if you can't redownload the app. If you can't find the app on your device, use the App Library to find the app."
Best regards.
Same issue, it’s annoying. I have no case on my phone now, had the same issue with the official leather case, which is opened back anyways like a lot of cases. I don’t see many lifeproof or otter boxes out there that enclose the camera.
Today trying to simply scan the barcode to add a Starbucks gift card I received in my app won’t work. Also when trying to scan a QR code in a retail app for products, like Best Buy for example, you have to hit a very specific distance for it to possibly focus, but if it’s too small you’re out of luck.
Not sure if it’s because of the hardware change but it’s in every third party app. Most suggestions out there tell you to remove your case, but that’s not the issue. I am sure a software fix could resolve. At this point though the iPhone 14 Pro just feels like you’re beta testing the device.
I will need to see who I know with a non pro iPhone to see if they have the same issue, but I am guessing not since that got the cameras from the 13? And that one didn’t have an issue. See if it gets fixed, if it’s up to the app developer, I don’t have high hopes.
Hi , the camera is functioning normally, it’s only with 3rd party apps.
I have tried deleting and reloading the app , still same issues
