Macbook air mid-2012 I have a mid 1012 macbook air 5,2. I changed the ssd since it was very slow. Now I have to instal the macos (os x lion) in the new ssd, but it won't let me install it. I formatted the new drive in "macos extended (journal) ". It downloads the installer and after a little while, it shows that 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱. And that's it.

It's not capable of Sierra or above. If you're trying to install El Capitan, describe what happens.
