MacBook Air battery issues as soon as the warranty got expired.

I purchased a MacBook Air m1 in Sept 2021 and in Nov 2022 with a cycle count of 160, I am getting a battery service recommendation. The service center executive is asking me to pay for the better, and I don't agree that I am at fault for the battery issue. What to do?

All costs associated with repairs once the 1 year warranty expires are the responsibility of the device owner. You were offered extended warranty (AppleCare +); I assume you didn't elect to get it. All costs are therefore yours to cover.
