Mac Screenshot, how to save as when you shoot it?

I can take screenshots, but then have to go to the desktop, to change the name. Is there a way to shoot it and save as, it on a MacBook pro?

You can press the command+shift+5 keys on your keyboard to open the Screen Shot menu bar. From there you can change the behavior of the screen shot when it is taken.

You can set it to automatically save to a specific location or folder by clicking on the "Options" menu in the tool bar, an selecting a different location.

If you select "Preview" the screen shot will open in the Preview App, and you can save it form there anywhere you want to.
