My iPhone shows recently deleted apps in battery usage draining battery when I haven’t deleted any apps in the past few days. I can seem to figure out why it’s happening. Could you please help me on how to solve this issue and whether it’s a software issue or a malware of some sort?

You’re right, I only saw the time that was null. I can only guess that it was iOS cleaning up the metadata left behind when the apps were deleted. You should probably ask Apple support, or wait a day or two and see if it disappears. Go to Contact Official Apple Support
Go to the App Library (the last page of the Home screen) and search for the “deleted” apps to make sure they were actually deleted and not just removed from the Home screen.
Thanks for the help, but that’s a part of the issue… I haven’t deleted any apps in a few days so I don’t know which apps it could be telling me about.
Ah, but they haven’t used any energy. There is no number next to that icon.
Hasn’t it though? The number that’s missing is the app activity… it’s still caused 5% of the battery drain in that hour.
