Not authorized to send Apple events to Terminal

I have a new MacStudio that I acquired very recently. First thing it did was update to Ventura. I use a software called Go Panel and it sends an even to the Terminal to connect to any of the servers it is configured to handle.

On this Mac, I get the following error:

Not authorized to send Apple events to Terminal.

I get no opportunity to allow this. The software does advise:

f you don't see such a dialog you might have to go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility and manually add goPanel.

I have done this but it makes no difference at all.

Mac Studio, macOS 13.1

Hello Gregory De_Villiers,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. It looks like you're on the right path by giving this app permission as described here:

Allow accessibility apps to access your Mac

In order to isolate this issue further, you can test this behavior in another user account on your Mac. Here's how to create a new user account:

Add account

Create a new user or group.
Click the New Account pop-up menu (you may be asked to enter your password), then choose a type of account.
• Administrator: An administrator can add and manage other users, install apps, and change settings. The new user you create when you first set up your Mac is an administrator. Your Mac can have multiple administrators. You can create new ones, and convert standard users to administrators. Don’t set up automatic login for an administrator. If you do, someone could simply restart your Mac and gain access with administrator privileges. To keep your Mac secure, don’t share administrator names and passwords.

Change Users & Groups settings on Mac
