photos just disappeared from finder

For instance, did you mean the Finder, or did they disappear from the Library used in the app Photos? (This is the forum for the Photos app on the Mac.)

Did you look in the trash? (Where were the pictures, and where did you look?)

If it was Photos, then we need your preferences settings and other details.

Sorry to hear that. But really, if you want help you have to bear in mind that we can't see your machine, much less read your mind. So you'll need to describe the issue to us in some detail.
