Apple Music view options still broken

Apple Music has a long-running bug where it randomly but frequently CHANGES the view option from 'songs' to 'playlist'.

Its beyond annoying; because it goes against every established user experience norm from Apple and others in that setting an option (or preference) should be maintained until it is again changed by the user.

If I have to constantly change the view preference for playlists BACK to 'songs' just to maintain my preferred setup, its just simply broken.

Its especially sad because Apple used to be good at user experience, but now and for a while now their supposedly most used Mac app is amateurish.

I've seen scripting and Keyboard macro solutions, but my REAL question is:

How and Why does Apple insist on forcing this preference BACK to 'playlist' despite what the user wants..?

It can't just be incompetence in software development; That level of incompetence is unimaginable.

So it must be a deliberate move on Apples' part. I Just don't know what the reason could be..?

I totally agree with your assessment that this app UI is quite amateurish. I used to really appreciate Apple's well-thought-out designs, but so many choices in Music leave me scratching my head. Who signed off on this?

Take a cue from Spotify - Every instance of an Artist's name or Album Title is clickable. Don't give me a pop-up when I click Read More, just expand the viewing area. Don't make me dig around in the "Three Dots menu" for the Show In Apple Music button on every single song. So many simple things could make it so much better.
