iPhone stuck on country selection

Same issue, Iphone 12 pro max. Can someone tell me what to do ?

I am having the same issue with my 11 and none of this is helpful

I solved this issue by plugging the phone into my mac and updating the IOS. Once updated to 16.3, phone setup smoothly.

my new iphone 11 is stuck in the setup screen because when i click my region it freezes and sends me back to the hello screen. how do i fix this
