Apps still working during downtime

My daughter is in my family settings on my iPhone (we both have an iPhone XR) and I have set downtime for her phone (block at downtime). However she is still managing to access certain apps (WhatsApp, Snapchat etc) during downtime. How is this possible and what can I do?

To be clear, her phone is up to date and I do not mean app limits (as I want to set specific hours of the day when she cannot be on her phone)

Hi FrustMum,

Do you have a Screen Time passcode set? If not, you will need to set one in order to enable Downtime > "Block at Downtime" or App Limits > [Limit Name] > "Block at End of Limit".

If you have a Screen Time passcode and these settings are enabled, but you continue to experience the same issue, you'll want to Contact Apple Support for assistance.
