Logic Pro X audio glitching

Having problems with audio running smoothly on Logic Pro X.

Im doing a podcast and for previous episodes weve had a host section speak and a guest section speak and will mix the two together.

For the host section the audio sounds fine and runs as it should. Its on a WAV file.

For the guest section it sounds normal when taking the file from google drive and it was recorded with no glitches during the zoom call. However, when imported (its a m4a file) to Logic the audio gets distorted, random clicks and sped up times. Basically unbearable to edit.

No idea what is wrong?

Can anyone help me out?
