Will an iPhone charger to USB ruin my new iPhone 14 Plus battery?

I just bought a new iPhone (14 Plus) from AT&T and the saleswoman told me and my family to only use iPhone chargers that connect to USB-C ports. She told us that she took Apple Training and that the USB cords would ruin the battery life on the phones. Is that true? Should I only be using an iPhone charger with an USBC cord?

The AT&T is seriously mistaken, or attempting to up-sell accessories. It is quite fine to use an existing Lightning cable and charge cube.
