How to reset AirPods if I don’t have my Apple ID they were originally connected to

how do I factory reset my AirPods to sell them if I don’t have access to the iCloud I originally used to set them up? Everytime I try and then go to connect it still shows up as I’m connecting to “my old iCloud” air pods

Hi Willysworld18, welcome to the Apple community

I hope you are doing well 🤗

You can't reset AirPods until you delete them from the old account. So you need to find a way to log into the old account and delete the AirPods.

See you soon👋
