Ipod Touch Stuck Out of DFU Mode I found my mom's old iPod Touch, and I decided to use it. It said "Connect to iTunes", so I did. It popped up, and I pressed "restore". It started going, and then a message popped up saying "This iPod is not in DFU mode. Please put in DFU mode to restore." I did some research, and tried to do it by holding the power button and home button, but that didn't work. As when I turn it on, all it says is "Connect to iTunes", there is no way for me to do it in settings. Please help.

iPod Disabled - Was in DFU mode, can't get back to DFU mode I don't know the passcode to an old iPod (4th gen). I tried different passcodes too many times and now the screen says, "iPod is disabled connect to iTunes". I know I have to put into recovery mode and reset it to factory settings, which will delte all the data now. I am okay with that. I followed the steps to get it into recovery mode (I got the expected iTunes logo on the iPod screen and iTunes detected it in recovery mode, but why I try to retore it I get the error below. I've tried the steps suggested in the "More info" link, but the same error keeps coming back. What else can I try? I just want to restore it so I can recycle it. Thanks for your help.

Ipod Disabled Connect To ITunes - Problem - DFU Mode I forgot the passcode to my old Ipod Touch 4th generation, after several attempts my Ipod has been disabled, the message on my screen reads "Ipod Disabled Connect to ITunes". I had done this by connecting it directly into a USB slot of my laptop (Windows 10) which I was then alerted that ITunes required me to input my passcode which I of course don't know... I read online that I would need to reset my Ipod back to factory settings and to do this I would need to trigger DFU mode, I done this by holding down the power button and home button until the screen went blank and ITunes registered it was in fact in DFU mode. I am able to click on the 'restore and update' button but I'm either met with the message "This Ipod was previously in DFU mode, but restarted and is no longer in DFU mode. To restore this Ipod from DFU mode, disconnect it and place it in DFU mode again." or ITunes begins "downloadign software" and at the end of the update I'm met with the same message noted prior. I have tried uninstalling ITunes and reinstalling (Using latest version from Microsoft Store) several times. I have disconnected my Ipod and tried running ITunes again, I have triggered DFU mode several different times and still nothing. Any advice would be appreciated. Screenshots below showing the process and problem.
