there is NO MUSIC APP on my computer! HELP!

I transferred my information from my old macbook pro to my new macbook air and the itunes icon came up as a "?". When I went to search for the apple music app, it is NOT on my computer. It's not in the apple store to download - only a pay version. I have thousands of songs on my old itunes. How do I get the Apple Music app on this computer? There is also no 'sync library' option either. There is NO apple music on this computer. Please help.

What version of macOS is your new computer running? See What happened to iTunes? - Apple Support. The app you're looking for is called Music and is built into Catalina and later versions of macOS. You should find it in the Applications folder.

See also Use Sync Library to access your music library across your devices - Apple Support if you have an Apple Music subscription.

If you need to revisit the transfer of your iTunes library see Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community.
