Apple Mail Alert

I have the new iMac and updated to Ventura and want to know how to turn off the new mail alert to off so its not pinging all the time? Its annoying with all my emails.

Mail - Automatic email notifications Hello, For work reasons I need to be notified as soon as I receive new emails, even when Mail is running in the background behind other windows (not as the active app). I have tried both the 'Check for new messages' options: "Automatically" and "Every minute", however neither does what I need: I have found that "Automatically" does indeed automatically download new emails and makes a ping sound, but only while Mail is the active app. "Every minute" downloads emails even when Mail is not the active app, but it does not make a ping sound – so I don't know that a new email has been downloaded. Can I configure a mailbox to be receive only and prevent any sending? I have several email accounts set up as normal. The server filters dubious, but potentially valid emails from several addresses into a singe 'real' account named Junk@xyzdomain. On my client laptop I have a mailbox to check the content of Junk@xyz. Now and again, in a rush, I have replied to an email and of course it leaves as being sent from junk@xyz. Deeply annoying. How can I configure the client to prevent email sending but allow email receipt for that single account? Yes, I could use another email client solely for that account, but having all email in a single location makes sense, if the operator is awake. Any suggestions? Catalina 10.15.7 on a Macbook Air. Mail Version 13.4 (3608.120.23.2.7)

failure Sending email on minimac Sending emails don’t work on new minimac. Same settings as on old one.

Sorry but you are looking in the Wrong Place >> Fonts & Colours

Need to look in GENERAL Tab
