Home Upgrade Available - nothing happens

First I select

Home Upgrade Available

Home now has a new underlying architecture that will improve the performance of your homes.

>Learn More

I get this:

Upgrade All Homes

Complete the steps to upgrade your homes and take advantage of improved performance and reliability of the accessories in your homes.

>Continue

Then I get this:

Upgrading your home requires that all HomePod speakers in your Home or associated with your iCloud account are updated to HomePod software version 16.2 or later.

>Update Now

(funny all my HomePods are on 16.2.)

immediately after that I get:

Cannot Complete Update

There are no available

HomePod updates.

That’s it, either back or cancel. It won’t update.

Hello oli4gva,

Let's use the steps below to restart your HomePod speakers:

1. Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's signed in with the Apple ID that you used to set up HomePod.
2. Tap or click HomePod.
3. Tap or click the Settings icon , scroll down, then tap or click Restart HomePod.

You can also find those steps in this resource: If HomePod mini or HomePod isn't responding A restart can sometimes help address odd behaviors.

Should that still persist, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support: Contact - Official Apple Support They'll be in the best position to look into this further.

Take care.
