Apple 30inch Cinema Display won't wake from sleep on M1 Mac mini

I am using a 30 inch Cinema Display with my M1 Mac mini connected via a USB-C to mini-Display Port adapter and an Apple mini Display Port to Dual-Link DVI adapter. The display works well except for one issue. If I put the Mac mini to sleep when I wake the system the display doesn’t turn on. The computer wakes (I can tell because I can hear sound if for example there’s a video playing) but there’s no display.

If I unplug the USB-C adapter from the computer and plug it back in the display turns on and then works as normal. An HDMI display does not have the same issue.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I could try to correct or troubleshoot this?

Mac mini, macOS 12.6
