Stop music from taking over my iPhone
I like the music app and occasionally listen to it but I’m getting annoyed with it taking over my AirPods, CarPlay and hearing aids. When I’m at work and listening to my latest audiobook I often have to pause it for a few minutes while talking to someone. When I press the button to restart my book it goes to the music app on its own about 3 times out of ten. I then have to stop what I’m doing, open the phone and go to the app I want and launch it. Music isn’t even open, often hasn’t been open for weeks, and it’s annoying.
I have restarted my phone multiple times, kept it updated, and even replaced it a few times in the years that this has been a problem. I have been told just to delete it but I like some of the functions that it controls and occasionally listen to it on long drives.
Besides deleting it, is there a way to resolve this? If a techie from Apple suggests restarting or updating my phone I WILL delete it since that response only reinforces a negative rumor that I don’t want to believe.
