MacBook Pro Crack

I closed this laptop and put it on a drawer with nothing on top of it and this crack happened, but I was still able to use it. One night later, the screen goes black and I can only see the smallest line of the background. Does anyone know if there’s a way to bring the screen to work again without replacing it?

mac screen Hi, is it me or anyone else experience a broken screen. My screen of my computer is broken from inside, but outside there is not scratch anything. Yesterday I used it and now I open it and the screen is black with Leon lights… it is expensive to buy another one… Plus it is not even my fault I did nothing wrong… how can I repair it …

What causes a horizontal line on my MacBook Pro screen? I woke up to find a single horizontal black line across the screen of my MacBook Pro (it’s only 2 years old). It doesn’t appear in screenshots so I’m assuming it’s a hardware issue. I’ve tried resetting and shutting down but it’s still there. I couldn’t get my laptop to run diagnostics either. I’m thinking it could be a graphics card or display cable issue based on what I’ve searched, but others with this issue seem to have it a lot worse than mine is. I am currently on holiday, nowhere near an Apple Store to get it repaired but I need to use the laptop. I am wondering if it’s safe to use until I can get to a store or if I have to let it rest as to not make it worse. I’m also certain that it hasn’t been physically damaged because it was in the same place as it was left in the evening. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hi,

I could see flex cable at the crack which may be damaged when you crack the screen.

You'd better take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
