Cross-country skiing missing distance

How basic can you get!!?? Do the developers not realize this activity/workout is performed outdoors? Please update the cross-country ski workout metrics to include distance (GPS tracking)

GPS tracking for Apple Fitness Paddling (or add Kayaking/Canoeing w/GPS tracking) I see this echoed for at least three years, but I would like to bring up GPS tracking for paddling. If the paddling workout is intended for a gym machine, how about adding a kayaking/canoeing workout? It’s a shame that paddle routes are only marked as a dot when there are other fitness apps (Routie) that achieve this functionality effortlessly.

Yeah, this is a total joke. Needs to be fixed, especially with how they have marketed the Apple Watch Ultra, which I plunked down for.
