If I have Apple TV set-top box do I have to pay for a subscription

I have the Apple TV set-top box. I have downloaded apps for YouTube, Peacock, Prime, Tube...... I never watch any of the Apple TV programing. Do I need to continue to pay for the Apple TV subscription just to use the other apps with the set-top box?
