Even after updating to ios 16.2, and doing all the required settings, 5g signal is not showing on my iphone 13 pro max. I am residing in 5g covered area and other iphones in my house are working perfectly on 5g. Tried switching carrier from jio to Airtel but same status. Can somebody help.

Contact your carrier and check if your carrier supports 5G.

Of course my carrier supports 5g. Other iphones in my own house are working on 5g. I live in Delhi India and jio is the carrier.
Did your problem is solved
Regarding Airtel, it work sometimes. You dont have a 5G tower effectively working in your area. Just check when you go to other areas. It will work.
