Child turned off location services on iPhone XR

My child has disabled location services on his iPhone XR and I can’t trace the device from afar with my device.

How can I prevent him from doing so?

There is no preventing the phone from turning off location services through the “screen time” portal.

Hi Arnondb,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! You can restrict the changes to privacy settings by following the steps below:

Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

1. Go to Settings and tap Screen Time.
2. Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode.
3. Tap Under Privacy, then choose the settings that you want to restrict.

Hope this helps!

Have a great day.
