Brief Pause Between Tracks in iOS 16.2

After updating to iOS 16.2, I now experience a brief pause between tracks in Apple Music (downloaded and streaming alike, it makes no difference). This was a widespread issue earlier this year, but seemed to have been fixed with the last iOS 15 and early 16 updates. Now it’s back, unfortunately. It makes loopable white noise and albums meant to play seamlessly sound very clunky.

Hi @JesseDay,

I understand your frustration. Since I updated to iOS 16.2 I also have a brief pause between each song in Apple Music on my iPhone. It is very annoying, especially when you listen to albums such as Pink Floyd – The Dark Side of the Moon.

I called Apple about this issue on January 15th, but the senior advisor didn't have any solution for me at this point. I hope Apple will introduce a fix in iOS 16.3 as this is extremely annoying.

Thanks!
