For efficiency purposes, take this to an AASP:

(Apple Authorized Service Provider):

Finding an AASP:

  1. Go Here: Find Locations - Apple Authorized Reseller
  2. Click: Service & Support
  3. Enter: your location information
  4. See: if there is an AASP nearby
  5. Contact: an AASP that shows up, and find out more about the services that they offer to fix the iPhone

There is no need of any kind to bring your Mac to an Apple Store or other authorized service center to do something as incredibly simple as cleaning the screen.

Bob's link says it all - a damp (preferably warm water to help get fingerprints and skin oil off of the surface), followed up with a dry cloth. The only "trick" is to emphasize DAMP, not soppy wet. You don't want water running down the screen, which can then seep in under the bezel.
