Screen black after newest update…

I have done the the two newest updates to be at 16.1.2 on my iPhone 11 - 256GB. From the first update, it got rid of my Lock Screen image and made it a black background. After the second update it brought my Lock Screen back but only temporarily until it went into a full sleep mode. Then it reset back to black. I found another community discussion that instructed to go into Settings: Focus : turn off the do not disturb and sleep modes. So after doing that and rebooting my phone my screensaver was back. But only until it went to full asleep again then it was gone. You have to keep rebooting the phone to get the Lock Screen image to come back and it’s temporary. Any suggestions for a fix are appreciated!

Hey Redcurlz668,

Those are some excellent steps you took on your own! It sounds like you're currently running iOS 16.1.2. Did you know that Apple recently released iOS 16.2? We recommend that you update your iOS to the latest version and then try again to see if you can reproduce the issue. How to update your device: Update your iPhone or iPad
