Why isn't my iPhone eligible for trade in?

If th device is too old, it has no resale value, so that might be the reason. We do not work for Apple so we do not know what their reason is. You can try to sell it yourself.

Maybe you upgraded another phone to this phone through your telco within the last 6 months.
