icloud mail can not connect to server

uosated to iOS 16.2 this morning. Now phone and Mac book say can not get mail error connection to server. I have tried everything from resetting phone to deleting and re entering the mail. Checked all settings. I am able to send an email from iCloud mail address but it will not receive only says unable to connect to server
